There are a lot of SEO tips and tricks out there coming from different experts and gurus but how many of you considered reading the tutorials from big boss of search engines? Yep, Mr. Google. Since we are into online publishing, we’re going to digest the tutorials provided by Google. This will hit two birds with one stone. First goal is to provide a comprehensive digest of Google’s take on SEO. The second target is to make it more easier to read.  
The focus of this first part of this series is about the contents of your websites according to the guidelines provided by Google. The second part would be more technical by nature.
Meaning of SEO - Search Engine Optimization
General Tips from Google:
1.   Research the potential effects of hiring an SEO professional or service. There are risks that you have to be aware of. You can hire a SEO professional for many reasons and Google affirms their importance to your website.
2. After developing your website submit it at http://www.google.com/submityourcontent/.
3.   Don’t forget to work on a sitemap for Google Webmaster Tools.

Specific Tips
A.   Content
1.   Use proper hierarchy. Links should be reachable through a static text. (Click the link to see meaning).
2.   Create a page for a Site map and organize the entries to your website.
3.   Keep a “reasonable number” of links on each page. Not more than 100. If there are more than 100 links, Google will decide to index or not the entire page.
4.   Publish informative contents.
5.   Focus on the users and make educated guess on what words they would use in search engines.
6.   Focus more on text. If you are using an image, don’t forget to include an “alt” descriptive words.
7.   Titles and Alt attributes elements should be descriptive.
8.   Always monitor broken links.
9.   Not all search engines read dynamic pages. Know more about dynamic pages here.
